When will the retreat be hosted?
The retreat will be hosted on Sunday, September 14th to Saturday, September 20th, 2025.
What's specifically included in the retreat?
In the retreat, you will get your Entire Stay at the luxurious Les Fontaines villa in Barbentane for 7 days, 6 nights (September 14th - September 20th), the most delicious wholesome meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), Inspiring hands-on painting sessions guided by your host Samantha Kaplan, Hands-on Business Workshops with Crista Cloutier to support you in mastering the Business of Your Art, a Pre One-on-one session with Crista Cloutier mapping out your Art Business & Excursions for you to experience the magic and beauty of Provence that artists have been traveling to for inspiration for centuries.
Where will I be staying?
You will be staying at the luxurious Les Fontaines villa in Barbentane.
Will I need to bring my own art supplies?
We will be providing all necessary art supplies (canvases, paints, brushes). However, if there are specific art supplies you always love to use, you are more than welcome to bring your own.

When are the remaining payments due?
Great question. After you put down your $500 deposit, with the $1000 discount (Expires October 1st, 2024), you will have 11 payments of $546.
If you choose to sign up after September 30th, 2024 the price of the monthly payments will be increased.
How much does it cost?
The entire inclusive retreat costs $7500.
However, if you join us before October 1st, you can get a $1000 discount, so it would only cost you $6500 for all 7 days.
To reserve your spot, you only need to put down a $500 deposit today.
Can I bring my partner?
Of course! If you would love to bring your partner, have them stay at the retreat house, have all their meals covered, and be able to join several of the excursions, email us at info@samanthakaplanart.com, and we'll send you all of the details.

Crista Cloutier has been actively involved in the international contemporary art world throughout her career. Having worked as an art dealer, curator and gallerist, she’s placed art in nearly every major US collection. Her files are now housed in the American Art Archives at the Smithsonian Institute.
Known internationally as a visual story-teller, artist and educator, Crista is the founder of The Working Artist. Through her program, she is now serving artists in over 80 countries.
In 2014, Crista created The Working Artist, an online professional practices resource for visual artists. Today, her work has helped artists in over 80 different countries to achieve career success.
Crista’s been named an "Influencer in the Contemporary Art World" by LinkedIn. In 2024, she was honored to become a fellow of the Royal Society of Art in the UK.
